Animania Zoo
Animania was an annual anime convention that was held in Sydney, Australia. Originally run by local University anime societies, Animania and later organised by Aurora Entertainment, including several events in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, and Adelaide. The term ''Animania'' in the 1990s referred to online-organized meetings of Animaniacs fans from around the world. Programming Animania featured many of the typical events found at anime conventions including cosplay and AMV ( anime music video) competitions, anime screenings, workshops, karaoke, video games such as Dance Dance Revolution. In addition to such staples, Animania experimented with several of its own attractions, such as live fandubbing, an "Iron Artist" drawing competition based on the Iron Chef TV show, the anime cover-band Halcyon, and "Animania Fusion", a skit-based video comedy featuring members of Animania staff. Australian Technology Park
South Eveleigh (previously known as Australian Technology Park) is a retail business centre and technology park south of the Sydney central business district and north of Sydney Airport. South Eveleigh borders Alexandria and Eveleigh. Eveleigh Railway Workshops emerged on the site in the 19th century and it was transformed into Australian Technology Park in 1995. Trigun
is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yasuhiro Nightow. It was first serialized in Tokuma Shoten's manga magazine ''Monthly Shōnen Captain'' from March 1995 to December 1996, until the magazine ceased its publication; its chapters were collected in three volumes. The series continued its publication in Shōnen Gahosha's manga magazine '' Young King OURs'', under the title ''Trigun Maximum'', from October 1997 to March 2007. Rica Matsumoto
is a Japanese actress, voice actress and singer who was born in Yokohama, Japan. Her name is also sometimes romanized as Rika Matsumoto. She was one of the founders of the anison band JAM Project. After early stage work, she began both voice acting and singing careers. Her most notable role is Satoshi ( Ash Ketchum in English localizations), the original main character of the anime series ''Pokémon''. Other notable roles include Ryo Bakura in ''Yu-Gi-Oh!'', Midori Kodama in ''Azuki Chan'', and Aoi Futaba in ''You're Under Arrest''. Lewis Frederick Morley (16 June 1925 – 3 September 2013) was a photographer. Biography Morley was born in Hong Kong to English and Chinese parents and interned in Stanley Internment Camp during the Japanese occupation of Hong Kong between 1941 and 1945, when he was released and emigrated to the United Kingdom with his family. He studied at Twickenham Art School for three years, and spent time as a painter in Paris in the 1950s. Perhaps best known for his photographs of Christine Keeler and Joe Orton, Morley began his career with assignments for magazines such as ''Tatler''. He was also a successful theatre photographer for over 100 West End productions. OzAsia Festival, or simply OzAsia, is a major arts festival in Adelaide, South Australia. It is an Asia-focused festival presented by the Adelaide Festival Centre for two weeks in late October to early November each year. Yunyu(王韵毓) is an Australian musician, film composer and singer-songwriter originally from Singapore, now living in New South Wales. She won Australia's Triple J Unearthed in 2002 with the song "You are Expendable", followed up with "A Prayer" a year later from her self-titled EP. Her music is mostly played on keyboards, pianoforte and synthesizers. Occasionally, when looking for variety, she will play the guzheng.
