AnimaniA Awards
The AnimaniA Award is an award for Japanese popular culture that has been presented by the German magazine '' AnimaniA'' since 2006. The award ceremony takes place during the opening ceremony of AnimagiC. Overview The AnimaniA Award is an audience award, which means that the winners of each category are determined by the audience or the readers of AnimaniA magazine in a Secret ballot. Each participant in the online voting can rate the nominees up to five points or leave no answer. The titles and artists receiving the most points at the end of the voting period will be recognized at the awards ceremony. Around 12,000 votes were cast for the AnimaniA Awards in 2018 and in 2019  and 2020 around 15,000. AnimaniA (magazine)
''AnimaniA'' is a German magazine dedicated to anime, manga and J-culture. History The first issue of the magazine was published in September 1994. ''AnimaniA'' is the first German-language media focussing on Japanese culture, especially anime and manga. Before the release of the first magazine, a volume zero issue had been printed and was handed out for free at Comic-Salon Erlangen for promotion. In 2001, the former editors of ''AnimaniA'' started publishing '' MangasZene'' magazine which ended publication in 2006. Until the publishing of the 50th issue, the magazine was published every two months. ''AnimaniA'' was then published ten times in one year until the release of issue 04-05/2010 and has been changed back to a bi-monthly publishing frequency due to the decline of the German anime market around that time. Yuki Kajiura
is a Japanese composer, arranger and music producer. She has provided the music for several popular anime series, such as ''Sword Art Online'', '' Puella Magi Madoka Magica'', '' Fate/Zero'', ''The Garden of Sinners'', '' Pandora Hearts'', and '' Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba''. As a composer, Kajiura is known for her unique and distinctive musical motifs and leitmotifs, as well as for her distinctive fusion of contemporary classical music and electronic music. Biography Kajiura was born on August 6, 1965, in Tokyo, Japan. She has been into music since 1972, accompanying her father on the piano. Her family later moved to West Germany because of her father's work. Muneyuki Kaneshiro
is a Japanese manga writer. He debuted in 2011 with '' As the Gods Will'', which was adapted into a live-action film. After serializing several other works, he launched '' Blue Lock'' with Yusuke Nomura in 2018, which won the 45th Kodansha Manga Award in the ''shōnen'' category. Burnout Syndromes (stylized in all caps when Romanization of Japanese, romanized) is a Japanese rock band formed on May 4, 2005 in Osaka. The band consists of guitarist and vocalist Kazuumi Kumagai (熊谷和海), bassist Taiyu Ishikawa (石川大裕), and drummer Takuya Hirose (廣瀬拓哉).
