Georgina Parker (born 16 December 1964) is an Australian television soap actress and has also appeared in film and theatre. She is a double Gold Logie winner, best known for her acting roles in Australian soap operas; as Lucy Gardiner (later Tyler) in ''A Country Practice''; as Theresa 'Terri' Sullivan in '' All Saints''; and as Roo Stewart in ''Home and Away'', as well as being a presenter on the children's program '' Play School''. Early life Parker was born in 1964. She grew up in the Sydney North Shore suburb of St Ives and attended St Ives North Public School in primary and attended Abbotsleigh School for Girls, in Sydney. The Gold Logie Award for Most Popular Personality on Australian Television, commonly referred to simply as the Gold Logie, is an award presented annually at the Australian Logie Awards. The Gold Logie was first awarded at the 2nd Annual TV Week Logie Awards, held in 1960 when the award was originally called Most Popular Personality on Australian Television. It was briefly renamed ''Best Personality on Australian Television'' in 2016-2017. For the 2018 ceremony, the award category name was reverted to Most Popular Personality on Australian Television.
