Anifah Aman
Anifah bin Haji Aman @ Haniff Amman ( Jawi: عنيفه بن أمان @ حنيف أمان; born 16 November 1953) is a Malaysian politician. Presently he is the President of Love Sabah Party (PCS). He formerly had served as the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia from April 2009 to May 2018. Anifah is also the former Member of Parliament (MP) for Beaufort (1999-2004) and Kimanis (2004-2019) in Sabah. He was a former member of the United Malays National Organisation (UMNO) which is part of the Barisan Nasional (BN) coalition, until he quit to be an Independent politician in 2018. Personal life Anifah is married to Siti Rubiah Abdul Samad and has 3 sons. He is the younger half brother of former Chief Minister of Sabah, Musa Aman. 2004 Malaysian General Election
A general election was held on Sunday, 21 March 2004 for members of the 11th Parliament of Malaysia. Voting took place in all 219 parliamentary constituencies of Malaysia, each electing one Member of Parliament to the Dewan Rakyat, the dominant house of Parliament. This is first election for Abdullah as Prime Minister since appointed for this position in 2003. 1999 Malaysian General Election
A general election was held on Monday, 29 November 1999 for members of the 10th Parliament of Malaysia. Voting took place in all 193 parliamentary constituencies of Malaysia, each electing one Member of Parliament to the Dewan Rakyat, the dominant house of Parliament. State elections also took place in 394 state constituencies in 11 out of 13 states of Malaysia (except Sabah and Sarawak) on the same day. Sipitang
Sipitang ( ms, Pekan Sipitang) is the capital of the Sipitang District in the Interior Division of Sabah, Malaysia. Its population was estimated to be around 4,298 in 2010. It is the closest town in Sabah to the Sarawak border, and is 44 kilometres south of Beaufort and 144 kilometres south of Kota Kinabalu, the state capital and also is 123 kilometres north of Long Pasia, one of the famous attraction in Sabah. Economy The major economic activities in Sipitang are timber related. The Ketua Menteri Sabah or Chief Minister of Sabah is the head of government of the Malaysian state of Sabah. Since September 2020, the position has been held by Hajiji Noor from the Malaysian United Indigenous Party (BERSATU), Perikatan Nasional (PN) from the coalition of Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) which had won the 2020 Sabah state election.
