Angus Lloyd (rugby Union)
Angus Lloyd (born 2 October 1992), is a retired Irish rugby union player. He played as a scrum-half. Early career Lloyd was educated at Blackrock College, where he played on the Schools Senior Cup team, and then went to Trinity College Dublin, where he played on the universities senior side, winning the colours game against UCD for the first time in his final year in 2015–16. He also played for Dublin University in the inaugural World Universities Cup held in Cambridge in 2015, where Trinity finished as runners-up. During the 2015–16 All-Ireland League, Lloyd was named the Division 1B Player of the Year, and he impressed during a trial with the Munster A squad in early 2016. Professional career Ulster Lloyd joined Ulster in the summer of 2016 on a development contract. He made his Ulster debut off the bench in the 19–8 victory at home to Scarlets on 16 September 2016. Dún Laoghaire
Dún Laoghaire ( , ) is a suburban coastal town in Dublin in Ireland. It is the administrative centre of Dún Laoghaire–Rathdown. The town was built following the 1816 legislation that allowed the building of a major port to serve Dublin. It was known as Dunleary until it was renamed Kingstown in honour of King George IV's 1821 visit, and in 1920 was given its present name, the original Irish form of Dunleary. Over time, the town became a residential location, a seaside resort and the terminus of Ireland's first railway. Toponymy The town's name means "fort of Laoghaire". This refers to Lóegaire mac Néill (modern spelling: Laoghaire Mac Néill), a 5th century High King of Ireland, who chose the site as a sea base from which to carry out raids on Britain and Gaul. The 2016–17 Pro12 (also known as the ''Guinness Pro12'' for sponsorship reasons) was the sixteenth season of the professional rugby union competition originally known as the Celtic League, and the seventh with a four-country format. It was the third season to be referred to as the ''Guinness Pro12''. The twelve competing teams were the four Irish teams: Connacht, Leinster, Munster and Ulster; two Italian teams: Treviso and Zebre; two Scottish teams: Edinburgh and Glasgow Warriors and four Welsh teams: Cardiff Blues, Newport Gwent Dragons, Ospreys and Scarlets. The first stage involved the 12 teams playing home and away in a league format with the top four sides qualifying for the semi-finals. Scotland Club XV
The Scotland national Club XV rugby union team is one of several national rugby union teams behind the Scottish national side. The national Club XV takes the best players from club rugby in Scotland to form a side that regularly competes with a similar Ireland Club XV. The two teams play each other annually for the Dalriada Cup. The Scotland Club XV side also regularly play with the similar England Counties XV since 2014. The French also have a Club XV side named the France Federale which the Scotland Club XV have played. Scotland Club XV has also played a Wales Club XV. Conor McKeon
Conor McKeon (born 4 january 1994) is a rugby union player from Ireland. He primarily played fly-half for most of his youth career, before changing to scrum-half at senior level. McKeon played professionally for Irish provincial side Connacht in the Pro14 having come through the team's academy, and played his club rugby for Athlone-based side Buccaneers. In April 2019, it was announced that McKeon would retire from rugby due to injury. His retirement came at the end of the 2018–19 season aged just 25. Early life McKeon was born in Dublin, and grew up in Rathfarnham. He played rugby from a young age, with St Mary's, and also played hurling with Ballyboden St Enda's. McKeon attended Gonzaga College in Ranelagh, where he chose to focus exclusively on rugby.
