Angoville () is a former Communes of France, commune in the Calvados (department), Calvados Departments of France, department in the Normandy (administrative region), Normandy Regions of France, region of north-western France. On 1 January 2019, it was merged into the new commune of Cesny-les-Sources. Geography Angoville is located some 30 km south of Caen and 10 km east by south-east of Thury-Harcourt. The D6 road from Thury-Harcourt to Ussy forms the northern border of the commune. Access to the commune is by the D241 road from TrĂ©prel in the south which passes through the length of the commune and the village and continues north to join the D6 on the border. The commune is mostly farmland with an area of forest in the south which is part of the large ''Bois de Saint-Claire''. Cesny-les-Sources () is a Communes of France, commune in the Calvados (department), Calvados Departments of France, department in northwestern France. The municipality was established on 1 January 2019 by merger of the former communes of Cesny-Bois-Halbout, Acqueville, Calvados, Acqueville, Angoville, Calvados, Angoville, Placy and Tournebu. Geography The commune is part of the area known as Norman Switzerland, Suisse Normande. The commune is made up of the following collection of villages and hamlets, Les Moulins, Cesny-Bois-Halbout, Cesny, Placy, La Rue aux Daims, L'Outre, Le Mesnil, Cesny-les-Sources, Angoville, Glatigny and Clair Tison.
