Angelika Jakubowska (born 30 April 1989) is a Polish model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Polonia 2008. Miss Polonia is a national beauty pageant in Poland to select the official ambassador of Poland at the Miss World, Miss Grand International, Miss Intercontinental and Miss Charm pageants. Miss Universe 2009 was the 58th Miss Universe pageant, held at the Imperial Ballroom in Atlantis Paradise Island, Nassau, The Bahamas on August 23, 2009. At the end of the event, Dayana Mendoza of Venezuela crowned Stefanía Fernández of Venezuela as Miss Universe 2009. Miss International 2009, the 49th Miss International pageant, was held on November 28, 2009, at the Sichuan International Tennis Center in Chengdu, Sichuan, China. The pageant was originally scheduled to be held on November 7, 2009, at The Venetian Macao in Macau, but the host committee backed out. 65 contestants competed for the coveted title. Alejandra Andreu of Spain crowned Anagabriela Espinoza of Mexico as the new titleholder.
