Angelfire is an American musical duo composed of Steve Morse and Sarah Spencer. Their music combines folk rock, country and jazz fusion within a pop context. The vocal arrangements are influenced by classical and new-age music. The duo's lyrics are introspective and invoke the story-telling of folk and country traditions. History Sarah Spencer met Steve Morse in 2007 when her father asked his neighbor (Morse) to hear Sarah sing. Morse was very impressed by her singing and songwriting, and offered to collaborate with her on original material. Sarah had already worked with some acclaimed producers, but this was her first major project. Steve and Sarah wrote and recorded in the studio adjoining his house. Released in 2016, the album was Lemon Demon's first full-length album in eight years. The album was released digitally through Bandcamp on February 29, 2016, and other streaming services the following day. On July 10, 2018, independent label Needlejuice Records announced vinyl, CD and cassette releases, which shipped on October 21, 2018. Angel Fire is a village in Colfax County, New Mexico, United States. The population was 1,216 at the 2010 census. It is a popular ski resort destination, with over of slopes. Angel Fire and nearby communities experience cold winter temperatures and mild temperatures in the summer. To the north, off U.S. Route 64, is Vietnam Veterans Memorial State Park. Angel Fire is on the Enchanted Circle Scenic Byway. Geography Angel Fire is located in southwestern Colfax County at (36.378808, -105.285658). The village center is in the valley of Cieneguilla Creek, with housing developments climbing mountain slopes to the east and west.
