Angel Espoy
Angel De Service Espoy (October 2, 1879 - January 31, 1963) was a Spanish Americans, Spanish American Painting, painter. He was best known for his paintings of the California seascapes and landscape art, landscapes of Poppy , poppies and Lupinus, lupines. His landscapes and marine art were exhibited at the Los Angeles City Hall, Oakland Museum of California, Los Angeles Municipal Art Gallery and Loyola Marymount University, Loyola University. His style was influenced by the Barbizon school of painters. Early life During his years at sea he became captain of a Square rig, four-rigged vessel, which operated in the Asia. Professional life Southern California The painting ''The Full Rigged Ship'' was exhibited at the Laguna Beach Art Gallery. In March 1938, Espoy's California wildflower landscapes and marine art were exhibited at the Frances Webb Gallery in Los Angeles. His style was influenced by the Barbizon school of painters. Seal Beach is a coastal city in Orange County, California, United States. It was originally known as Bay City before it was incorporated into Orange County under its current on October 24, 1911. As of the 2020 census, the population was 25,242, up from 24,168 at the 2010 census. Seal Beach is located in the westernmost corner of Orange County. To the northwest, just across the border with Los Angeles County, lies the city of Long Beach and the adjacent San Pedro Bay.
