Anekdoten Albums
Anekdoten is a Sweden, Swedish progressive rock band, composed of guitarist/vocalist Nicklas Barker, cellist/keyboardist Anna Sofi Dahlberg, bassist/vocalist Jan Erik Liljeström and drummer Peter Nordins. They are notable for the use of the mellotron and their heavy sound dominated by a pounding bass guitar. Their music is associated with the tradition of 1970s progressive rock music, especially that of King Crimson. Since 2015 former The Church (band), The Church guitarist Marty Willson-Piper has been touring with the band. Reine Fiske
Nils Reine Fiske (born 4 October 1972) is a Swedish guitarist, art director and sound engineer at the record label Subliminal Sounds, who put his signature to many prog-rock projects such as Landberk, Morte Macabre, Paatos, Motorpsycho (band), Motorpsycho, Elephant9, and Träd, Gräs & Stenar. He is best known for his playing in the band Dungen. Career Fiske was born in Saltsjö-Boo, Sweden. He plays in The Amazing with Christopher Gunrup, has also played with the band Reform (band), Reform, and is a member of Sylvester Schlegel's band The Guild (band), The Guild, in addition to those already mentioned. Paatos
Paatos is a Swedish rock band that was formed in 1999 by Reine Fiske and Stefan Dimle (both previous members of Landberk), Petronella Nettermalm, Ricard Nettermalm and Johan Wallen. Paatos is usually classified as progressive rock, albeit influenced by bands such as Portishead and Massive Attack. History Paatos was formed in 1999 by Reine Fiske and Stefan Dimle of the Swedish band Landberk, and Ricard "Huxflux" Nettermalm and Johan Wallen of the band Agg. The band appeared at a folk rock festival with Turid Lindqvist and later recruited vocalist Petronella Nettermalm, Ricard's wife. Landberk
Landberk was a Swedish prog/art rock band, characterized by a dark, sombre tone in their music. They were notable for their utilisation of the mellotron, which was as important as the guitar in their music. Landberk's last live performance was in Oslo 1999. The band released three studio albums during the 1990s, ''Riktigt Äkta'' (1992), followed by ''One Man Tells Another'' (1994) and ''Indian Summer'' (1996). They also recorded a cover version of ''No More White Horses'', a song by T2, an almost forgotten psychedelic rock band from the 1960s. Members of the band were: Stefan Dimle (bass), Reine Fiske (guitars), Patric Helje (vocals), Jonas Lidholm (drums) and Simon Nordberg (mellotron/keyboard). Simon Nordberg also acted as the group's producer. On Landberk's first album Andreas Dahlbäck played drums. Stefan Dimle
Stefan Dimle (born 7 June 1967 in Köping, Sweden) is the bass player in the progressive band Morte Macabre and a former member of Landberk and Paatos. He is the driving force in the company Mellotronen who also is the organiser of the floating rock festival named the Melloboat which are held aboard the ship Galaxy. Mellotronen runs the community Mello-Club at a café in Stockholm. Career During the 1980s Stefan Dimle was a member of several local rock bands in his former hometown Borlänge. One of the bands was Kajuku. Some members from that band are currently in Opeth and Anekdoten. 1986 Stefan Dimle started the rock club Mellotronen in Borlänge. The company existed on a parallel basis in Stockholm and Borlänge. The shop had a huge section of rare and hard to find CDs & LPs in the field of progressive rock.
