In 2007 the record label was partially acquired by Ministry of Sound and Horsfield remained as head of the company. In 2008 he partnered with James Palumbo to start MOSHK America. Horsfield became the president of Ministry of Sound and Hed Kandi for the US, Canada, and Mexico. In 2008 Ministry of Sound America released "Let Me Think About It", the longest running track on the Top 50 Dance Airplay chart and one of Horsfield's first achievements as President of Ministry of Sound America. Global Underground is a British record label and compilation series founded in 1996 by Andy Horsfield and James Todd. James Rudolph Palumbo, Baron Palumbo of Southwark (born 6 June 1963) is a British entrepreneur and member of the House of Lords. Biography The eldest son of property developer Peter Palumbo, Baron Palumbo, Jamie was born in London and educated at Eton College and Worcester College, Oxford. From 1984 to 1992, Palumbo worked in the City of London for Merrill Lynch and Morgan Grenfell in equity capital markets and property finance. Hedkandi is an English record label, events and music brand owned by Ministry of Sound. Its back catalogue includes both artist albums and dance music compilations. History The Hedkandi label was founded in 1999 at radio station Jazz FM's Enterprise Division by Mark Doyle, who proposed the initial idea and created the name, concept and track listings, as a stable mate to Jazz FM Records. Its live events quickly gained popularity with a residency in Ibiza at el Divino and by having its own specialist radio show on Jazz FM. "Let Me Think About It" is a song performed by Danish soul singer Ida Corr and Dutch house DJ Fedde le Grand. It is a remix by le Grand of Corr's original track which appears on her 2006 album ''Robosoul''. The song features credited vocals by Corr and uncredited vocals by Danish R&B singer Burhan G. Production In 2006, Ida Corr, Christian von Staffeldt a.k.a. Motrack and Burhan Genc wrote the track for Ida Corr's second album ''Robosoul''. Corr, Motrack and Kasper Tranberg produced the original album version of the song. In 2007 Fedde Le Grand heard the album version through Ida's label ''Lifted House''. He then produced a remix of the song and released it through his label ''Flamingo Recordings''. The remix has an electro and house feel, with a 'jerky' beat and also with an element of jazz.
