Andy Hopwood
Andy Sugden (also Hopwood) is a fictional character from the Television in the United Kingdom, British ITV (TV network), ITV soap opera, ''Emmerdale'', played by Kelvin Fletcher. He made his first on-screen appearance on 4 July 1996. Andy is the son of Billy Hopwood (David Crellin) and Trisha Hopwood and the adoptive son of Jack Sugden (Clive Hornby) and Sarah Sugden (Alyson Spiro). Storylines Andy arrives in Emmerdale and is fostered by Jack Sugden, Jack (Clive Hornby) and Sarah Sugden (Alyson Spiro), but finds it difficult to settle with the Sugden family. While on-site at a quarry, his foot lodges on a rock and gets trapped, forcing Jack to rescue him. When his father, Billy Hopwood (David Crellin), visits Emmerdale, Andy is persuaded to move into a caravan with him and disown the Sugdens. Kelvin Fletcher
Kelvin Warren Fletcher (born 17 January 1984) is an English actor, model, racing driver, presenter and farmer. He played Andy Sugden in the ITV soap opera ''Emmerdale'', a role he played from 1996 until 2016. In 2019, Fletcher won the seventeenth series of ''Strictly Come Dancing'' with his professional partner Oti Mabuse. ''Emmerdale'' is a British soap opera first broadcast on 16 October 1972. The following is a list of characters that first appear during 2020, by order of first appearance. All characters are introduced by the soap's executive producer, Jane Hudson. Samantha Kate Winward (born 12 October 1985) is an English actress. She is best known for playing Katie Sugden in the ITV soap opera ''Emmerdale'' between 2001 and 2015. Early life Winward was born in Bolton, Greater Manchester, England. She attended Turton High School in Bromley Cross, South Turton. Personal life Winward was engaged to footballer David Dunn. Christopher Smith (English Actor)
Christopher Smith (born 15 October 1984 in Bradford, West Yorkshire, England) is an English actor and producer. Career Smith attended Stage 84 drama school in Bradford, where his mother was choreographer, and at the age of four, he was picked from 50 auditionees when Yorkshire Television visited the school searching for a new boy to play Robert Sugden in the ITV soap opera ''Emmerdale''. His father, Richard Smith, also acts and appeared in a minor role in ''Emmerdale'' before Smith joined the cast. Smith is best known for playing Robert Sugden from 1989 until 2001, when he was axed and replaced by Karl Davies. In September 2001, Smith sued Yorkshire Television for unfair dismissal from his part as Robert. Alun Lewis Bennett (born 1949) is a British former actor and musician. Early life He was born in London, the son of Welsh parents Sarah Gwen (née Lewis) and Gorden Bennett. He is the younger brother of actor Hywel Bennett, who played many roles in British film and television. He appeared with the National Youth Theatre in '' Zigger Zagger'' at the Strand Theatre in the West End in March 1968 before training as an actor at RADA. Victor "Vic" Windsor is a fictional character from the British ITV soap opera ''Emmerdale'', played by Alun Lewis for a period of five years, from 1993 until 1998. Vic was the second husband of shopkeeper, Viv Windsor (Deena Payne), and also father of Kelly Windsor (Adele Silva) and Donna Windsor (Verity Rushworth).
