Andy Gibb
Andrew Roy Gibb (5 March 1958 – 10 March 1988) was an English singer and songwriter. He was the younger brother of Barry Gibb, Barry, Robin Gibb, Robin, and Maurice Gibb, musicians who had formed the Bee Gees during the late 1950s. Andy Gibb came to prominence in the late 1970s through the early 1980s with eight singles reaching the Top 20 of the US Hot 100, three of which went to No. 1: "I Just Want to Be Your Everything" (1977), "(Love Is) Thicker Than Water" (1977), and "Shadow Dancing (song), Shadow Dancing" (1978). In the early 1980s, he co-hosted the American music television series ''Solid Gold (TV series), Solid Gold''. He also performed in productions of ''The Pirates of Penzance'' and ''Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat''. "(Love Is) Thicker Than Water" is a song performed by Andy Gibb, released in September 1977 as the second and final single by RSO Records from his debut album, ''Flowing Rivers'' (1977). The song was his second single that topped the US Billboard Hot 100. It was mainly written by Barry Gibb, with help from Andy Gibb and produced by Gibb-Galuten-Richardson. The B-side of this song was " Words and Music" in the US, but "Flowing Rivers" in the UK. It became a gold record. ''Billboard'' magazine describes the song as "a midtempo ballad that changes pace from a lushly romantic and soft ndyGibb vocal to an uptempo instrumental drive. Tom Kennedy ( 1948 – December 7, 2011) was an American film trailer producer, film director, voice-over artist, author, writer and film editor. Kennedy was raised in the Bronx, New York City, and graduated from the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan, where he studied film. Kennedy worked as an editor for the PBS children's show, '' Big Blue Marble'', during his early career. In 1977, he moved from New York City to Los Angeles. He soon became a project director, editor and writer for became the Kaleidoscope Films, one of Hollywood's major creators of film trailers. Cribb Island, Queensland
Cribb Island was a suburb of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, which is now part of the site of Brisbane Airport and part of the suburb of Brisbane Airport. The suburb was the childhood home of the Gibb brothers, who later became famous as the Bee Gees. Geography "Cribbie", as it was known by the locals, consisted of two areas which were made up of Cribb Island which had a beach facing Moreton Bay and was used mostly by holiday makers and Jackson's Estate to the south-west of the beach used for farming and permanent residents. Stretford Memorial Hospital was a health facility in Seymour Grove, Stretford, Greater Manchester. It was managed by Central Manchester University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. It closed in 2015. History The building in which the hospital was housed was originally a private residence known as Basford House. It was designed in the Italianate style and completed around 1850. It was loaned to the British Red Cross for use as an auxiliary hospital during World War I.
