Andy Cowan
Andy Cowan (born Andrew Glenn Cowan) is an American writer and script consultant for television and other media. He is the creator and host of the therapy/comedy podcast, ''The Neurotic Vaccine'', launched in 2022 from Benztown + McVay Media Podcast Networks. From 2010–2011, he co-hosted his radio comedy therapy talk show, ''Up & Down Guys'', on KPFK 90.7 FM in Los Angeles. In 2019 an ''Up & Down Guys'' podcast pilot was produced for Westwood One. He has appeared on several television shows, hosted the hour-long talk show pilot, ''Another Talk Show! with Andy Cowan'', featuring Jason Alexander and Sheila Raye Charles, and was guest commentator on KTTV's '' Good Day L.A.'' KPFK (90.7 FM) is a listener-sponsored radio station based in North Hollywood, California, United States, which serves Southern California, and also streams 24 hours a day via the Internet. It was the second of five stations in the non-commercial, listener-sponsored Pacifica Foundation network. ''Rhymes with Orange'' is an American comic strip written and drawn by Hilary B. Price and distributed by King Features Syndicate. The title comes from the commonly held belief that no word in the English language rhymes with "orange". It was first syndicated in June 1995. While the strip has no named recurring characters, common themes include cats, dogs, and absurdities of modern life. It appears in over 400 newspapers daily, and won the Silver Reuben for "Best Newspaper Panel Cartoon" from the National Cartoonists Society in 2007, 2009, 2012 and 2014. ''Bizarro'' is a single- panel cartoon written and drawn by cartoonist Dan Piraro and later by cartoonist Wayne "Wayno" Honath. Publication history Launched January 21, 1985, the panel appears daily in 350 markets throughout North and South America, Europe and Asia. Initially syndicated by Chronicle Features, it moved to the Universal Press Syndicate in 1995 and then King Features Syndicate in 2003. On January 1, 2018, Piraro's friend and colleague Wayne "Wayno" Honath took over creative duties on the daily strip, with Piraro continuing to do the Sunday strip.
