Andrés López (born June 25, 1971) is a comedian and actor. He is considered a pioneer of stand-up comedy in Colombia. López gained notoriety in Colombia after releasing his show called ''La Pelota de Letras'' (''The Ball of Letters'') which earned him a Double Diamond award from Universal Music. Beginning of his career As a student of Systems Engineering and Anthropology 1990 he started performing in the Universidad de los Andes in Bogotá. Later the University assigned a classroom for him to teach the art of stand-up comedy to people interested in performing dramatic and comedic theater. He also created the University Newspaper “El Mercurio” where there was room for people to express themselves artistically by placing their stories, paintings, poems and photographs. Andrés López López (15 June 1971) also known by the nickname 'Florecita' (English: Little Flower), is a former Colombian drug trafficker who was one of the leaders of the notorious Norte del Valle Cartel, and Colombian writer. Early years López was born on 15 June 1971 in Cali, Colombia to a middle-class family. Andrés López de Medrano (1780 – May 6, 1856) was a nobleman, educator, doctor, lawyer, journalist, poet, author, politician and the first enlightened philosopher of the Dominican Republic. Medrano served as rector of the University of Santo Domingo in 1821 and was a professor of Latin and Rhetoric. He was also appointed Syndic Procurator General and councilman of the Santo Domingo Cabildo. Born in Santiago de los Caballeros, he was a supporter of Dominican Independence and became one of the most important intellectual figures in the early 19th century. Andrés López Polanco, (died 1641) was a Spanish Baroque painter specializing in portraits. Documented in Madrid between 1608 and 1641, he worked for the court of King Philip III of Spain and King Philip IV of Spain. His exact date of birth is unknown. Biography Born perhaps in Valladolid, as deduced from its signature (Andres LOPEZ / Pinciano F.) in the portrait of ''Juan Bautista de Acevedo, second bishop of Valladolid''.
