Andrés Duque is a Colombian American gay rights activist, journalist, and award-winning blogger. He is best known for his blog Blabbeando, where he discusses LGBT politics, culture, and daily life in New York City and around the world. He is also well known for his advocacy for human rights. Duque lives in Jackson Heights, Queens, New York City. Colombian Americans ( or ), are Americans who have Colombian ancestry. The word may refer to someone born in the United States of full or partial Colombian descent or to someone who has immigrated to the United States from Colombia. The GMHC (formerly Gay Men's Health Crisis) is a New York City–based non-profit, volunteer-supported and community-based AIDS service organization whose mission statement is to "end the AIDS epidemic and uplift the lives of all affected."
