Andrés Ignacio Campos González (born 15 September 1996) is a Chilean professional boxer. He is a one-time IBF flyweight title challenger, having fought for the title in 2023.and the current IBO Inter-continental flyweight champion Professional career Early career Campos made his professional debut against Guillermo Dejeas on 10 August 2018. He won the fight by unanimous decision, with scores of 40–35, 39–37 and 40–35. Campos next beat Luis Gonzalo Sucasaca Pari by unanimous decision on 19 October 2018, Marcos Emilio Villafane by unanimous decision, on 25 January 2019 and Claudio Lavinanza by split decision on 30 March 2019. Campos faced Agustín Francisco David Leiton on 5 July 2019. He won the fight by a second–round technical knockout. It was the first knockout victory of his professional career. Joselito Velázquez Altamirano (born 30 September 1993 in Santo Domingo Zanatepec) is a Mexican professional boxer. As an amateur, he won gold medals at the 2011 and 2015 Pan American Games, and represented Mexico at the 2016 Olympics. Early life Velázquez was born in the city of Oaxaca, Mexico, but had to leave at the age of two because of his family's financial needs. He then moved with his family to Cancun, where he grew up. His father worked as a cab driver and a baker, while his mother worked at a daycare. Interim Championship
An interim championship is an alternate title that is awarded by the sanctioning bodies of professional boxing, and in other combat sports such as kickboxing, professional wrestling, and mixed martial arts. Occasionally, the champion of a particular weight division is temporarily unable to defend their championship because of medical, legal, or other reasons beyond the competitor's control. When this case occurs, two highly ranked contenders may fight for an interim championship of the same weight division – leading to two champions existing in the same weight division simultaneously. Once the original champion can return, at the discretion of the sanctioning body or promotion concerned, they must defend their title against the interim champion - who will relinquish their interim title to fight for the full world title.
