André Renaux
André Jean Marie Renaux (29 August 1882 – 27 May 1924) was a French footballer who played as a goalkeeper for RC Roubaix and the French national team in the early 20th century. Together with his brother Charles, he played a crucial role in the Racing team that won six consecutive Northern championships from 1903 to 1908, and then reached six consecutive finals of the French championship, winning five (1903–04, 1906, and 1908). Playing career André Renaux was born in Roubaix on 29 August 1882, as the son of a broker in the wool industry. Due to his height of 1.82 meters tall, Renaux became a goalkeeper, joining the ranks of RC Roubaix in the early 1900s, and becoming the starting goalkeeper of the club's first team in 1902, aged 20. In sport, a cap is a player's appearance in a game at international level. The term dates from the practice in the United Kingdom of awarding a cap to every player in an international match of rugby football and association football. Cercle Athlétique de Paris Charenton is a French football club which plays in the cities of Charenton-le-Pont and Maisons-Alfort, Val-de-Marne. The team is a merger between CA Paris (founded in 1892) and SO Charentonnais (founded in 1904). The two merged in 1964. Gallia Club Paris
Gallia Club, also known as Gallia Club Paris to identify the club's location, was a French amateur football club based in Paris. The club was founded in 1896 and were known as ''Les coqs'' (The Roosters). Gallia Club was among the few clubs that participated in France's first-ever football league, ''Le Championnat de USFSA'', joining the league for the 1896–97 season. The club won its only USFSA league title in the 1904–05 season defeating Roubaix 1–0 at the Parc des Princes. Midfielder Georges Bayrou was particularly instrumental in the club's success. Bayrou later went on to become one of the founding fathers of professionalism in French football. Gallia Club also won the Coupe Manier and the Coupe Dewar in 1904 and 1909, respectively.
