André Di Mauro
André Felippe Di Mauro (born Rio de Janeiro, October 27, 1964) is a Brazilian actor, director, producer, writer and screenwriter. As an actor he played characters in popular works such as "Rodrigues" in the film '' Elite Squad'' and "Lipe" of the soap opera Chamas da Vida. He is the great-nephew of filmmaker Humberto Mauro, pioneer of cinema in Brazil, author of the book ''Humberto Mauro - the father of Brazilian cinema'' and director of the film "Humberto Mauro" selected for the 75th Venice International Film Festival the world premiere took place on September 5, 2018. Fábio Villela Barreto Borges (June 6, 1957 – November 20, 2019) was a Brazilian filmmaker, actor, screenwriter, and film producer. He was best known for directing '' O Quatrilho'' (which was the first Brazilian film nominated for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film in more than 30 years) and '' Lula, o filho do Brasil'', a biography based on President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva's early life, which had been the most expensive film in the history of Brazilian cinema upon its release. Barreto slipped into a coma in 2009 after being involved in a car accident in Rio de Janeiro and, in August 2014, was reported to be in a minimally conscious state. José Bento Renato Monteiro Lobato (; 18 April 1882 – 4 July 1948) was one of Brazil's most influential writers, mostly for his children's books set in the fictional Sítio do Picapau Amarelo (Yellow Woodpecker Farm) but he had been previously a prolific writer of fiction, a translator and an art critic.
