Andrii Pilshchykov
Andrii Borysovych Pilshchykov ( uk, Андрій Борисович Пільщиков; 3 February 1993 – 25 August 2023) was a Ukrainian fighter pilot with the call sign "Juice" (Джус) and a captain in the 40th Tactical Aviation Brigade of the Ukrainian Air Force. He was qualified as a 2nd Class pilot and flew Mikoyan MiG-29s during the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Pilshchykov was awarded the Order for Courage, 3rd class, in May 2022, and posthumously promoted to the rank of major. Life and career Early life Born in Kharkiv, Pilshchykov spent his school years at the . As a teenager, Pilshchykov was interested in aviation and often visited local airfields. Lilienthal Bekas
The Lilienthal Bekas (Lilienthal Snipe in English, Лиленталь Х-32 Бекас in Russian) is a 2/3 seat, high wing single engine pusher ultralight from Ukraine. First flown in 1993, it has been produced in large numbers and in several variants. Design and development The Lilienthal Bekas is a pod and boom, multi-purpose, pusher configuration ultralight with a high wing and low-set boom carrying a T-tail. The well glazed pod seats two in tandem and carries the constant chord wing at its top.
