Nikolai Andrianov
Nikolai Yefimovich Andrianov (; 14 October 1952 – 21 March 2011) was a Soviet and Russian gymnast. He held the record for men for the most Olympic medals at 15 (7 gold medals, 5 silver medals, 3 bronze medals) until Michael Phelps surpassed him at the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics. Andrianov is the third athlete (male or female) in cumulative Olympic medals after Phelps's 28 and Larisa Latynina's 18. Andrianov won the most medals at the 1976 Summer Olympics with 6 individual medals and one team medal. Within the sport of Men's Artistic Gymnastics, he also holds the men's record for most individual Olympic medals (12) and shares the male record for most individual Olympic gold medals in gymnastics (6) with Boris Shakhlin and Dmitry Bilozerchev (the latter of which only if you count the 1984 Alternate Olympics). Vasily Ivanovich Andrianov
Vasily Ivanovich Andrianov (; 13 August 1920 – 7 May 1999) was a Soviet Air Force major general and twice Hero of the Soviet Union. Andrianov was awarded the title Hero of the Soviet Union twice for making 177 successful attack missions during World War II. Postwar, Andrianov continued his career in the Air Force and taught at the Military Academy of the General Staff. After retiring in 1981 as a Major general, Andrianov died in 1999 and was buried at the Troyekurovskoye Cemetery. Early life Andrianov was born on 13 August 1920 in the village of Ivanisovo in Tver Governorate to a peasant family. He spent his childhood and teenage years in the village of Sonkovo. In 1936, he graduated from eight grades. Andrianov graduated from the Smolensk Co-operative College in 1938. Between 1939 and 1940, he worked as a military instructor at the Sonkovo High School. Tatyana Nikolayevna Andrianova (, born 10 December 1979 in Yaroslavl) is a Russian former middle-distance runner who specialized in the 800 metres. She did not compete in the 2006 and 2007 seasons, but improved on her personal best time in 800 metres in 2008. Career In the 2004 Olympics in Athens, Andrianova was fifth in the final, so in the 2005 World Championships she was a favourite. Nadija Mykolajivna Hordijenko Andrianova ( ; also Andrianova Hordijenko; 15 December 1921 – 27 March 1998) was a Ukrainian writer and translator of the Esperanto language. She graduated in literature and journalism at Kyiv University in 1945, and studied foreign languages until 1950. ''The Spy'' () is a 2012 Russian spy film, an adaptation of Boris Akunin's novel ''The Spy Novel'' ( Шпионский роман).
