Andrew Suárez
Andrew José Suárez (born September 11, 1992) is an American professional baseball pitcher who is a free agent. He has previously played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the San Francisco Giants and St. Louis Cardinals, in the KBO League for the LG Twins, and in Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB) for the Tokyo Yakult Swallows. The Giants selected Suárez in the second round of the 2015 MLB draft. Early life and education Suárez was born in Miami, on September 11, 1992. He attended Christopher Columbus High School in Miami. He is of Cuban descent. In 2010, he had a 5–1 win–loss record with a 1.51 earned run average (ERA), and was named First Team All- Dade County and FHSAA Class 6-A Pitcher of the Year. In baseball statistics, earned run average (ERA) is the average of earned runs allowed by a pitcher per nine innings pitched (i.e. the traditional length of a game).
