Andrew Maguire is a British commodities trader and whistleblower. He presented evidence to United States regulators alleging that fraud had been committed, and that prices in the international gold and silver markets had been manipulated. Andrew Maguire (politician)
Gene Andrew Maguire (born March 11, 1939) is an American politician who served three terms as a Democratic member of the United States House of Representatives, representing New Jersey's 7th congressional district (western Bergen County) from 1975 to 1981. Early life and education Maguire attended Budlong Elementary School in Los Angeles, California, and graduated from Ridgewood High School in Ridgewood, New Jersey in 1956. He received a B.A. from Oberlin College in 1961, and a Ph.D. in government from Harvard University in 1966. He was awarded the George F. Baker, Danforth Foundation, Woodrow Wilson, and Ford Foundation’s Foreign Area Training scholarships for undergraduate and post-graduate studies. Professional career Maguire was an advisor on political and security affairs in the United States Department of State from 1966–1969, and a member of the United States Delegation to the United Nations General Assembly. Nils Styger Abyss is a mutant and the half-brother of Nightcrawler. He was created by Scott Lobdell, Mark Waid, Roger Cruz, and Steve Epting, and he first appeared in ''Age of Apocalypse: Alpha'', which takes place in an alternate reality. The ''Age of Apocalypse'' version of the character is a Horsemen of Apocalypse and a living portal who can send others to another dimension. Years after the ''Age of Apocalypse'' event ended, the character was introduced in the main Marvel Universe.
