Andrew J. Nathan
Andrew James Nathan (; born 3 April 1943) is a professor of political science at Columbia University. He specializes in Chinese politics, foreign policy, human rights and political culture. Nathan attended Harvard University, where he earned a B.A. in history, an M.A. in East Asian studies, and a Ph.D. in political science. He has taught at Columbia University since 1971, and currently serves as the chair of the steering committee for the Center for the Study of Human Rights. The Tiananmen Papers
''The Tiananmen Papers'' was first published in English in January 2001 by PublicAffairs. The extended Chinese version of this book was published in April that same year under the title 中國六四真相 (Pinyin: ''Zhōngguó Liùsì Zhēnxiàng'', translated as ''June Fourth: The True Story'') by Mirror Books in Hong Kong. The book is presented as a compilation of selected secret Chinese official documents relating to the 1989 Tiananmen Square protests and massacre.Zhang Liang. ''The Tiananmen Papers''. Eugene Perry Link, Jr. (; born 6 August, 1944 Gaffney, South Carolina) is Chancellorial Chair Professor for Innovative Teaching Comparative Literature and Foreign Languages in College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences at the University of California, Riverside and Emeritus Professor of East Asian Studies at Princeton University. Link taught Chinese language and literature at Princeton University (1973-77 and 1989-2008) and UCLA (1977-1988). He specializes in modern Chinese literature and Chinese language. Evelyn Sakakida Rawski
Evelyn Sakakida Rawski (born February 2, 1939) is an American scholar of Chinese and Inner Asian history. She is currently a Distinguished University Professor in the Department of History of the University of Pittsburgh. She was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, United States of Japanese-American ancestry. She served as president of the Association for Asian Studies in 1995–1996. Rawski has written extensively on history of the Qing dynasty, and is considered a seminal figure of the school called the New Qing History.
