Andrew Guthrie
Andrew Guthrie (born 18 January 1961), known as Andrew Merryweather during his football career, is a former Australian rules footballer who played with Fitzroy and Essendon in the Victorian Football League (VFL). He used his step father's surname Merryweather during his playing career, then later changed back to his birth name. A Doncaster recruit, he made his only appearance for Fitzroy in the 1982 VFL season, against Melbourne at Waverley Park. He got another chance to play VFL football six seasons later, when he was called up by Essendon, having spent the previous years playing local football. Used as a defender, he appeared in the first five rounds of the 1988 season. The Fitzroy Football Club is an Australian rules football club currently competing in the Victorian Amateur Football Association (VAFA). Formed in 1883 to represent the inner-Melbourne municipality of City of Fitzroy, Fitzroy, the club is based at the Brunswick Street Oval, W. T. Waverley Park
Waverley Park (also and originally called VFL Park) is an Australian rules football stadium in Mulgrave, Victoria, Australia. The first venue to be designed and built specifically for Australian Rules football, for most of its history, its purpose was as a neutral venue and used by all Victorian-based Victorian Football League/Australian Football League clubs. During the 1990s it became the home ground of both the Hawthorn and St Kilda football clubs. It ceased to be used for AFL games from the 2000 season following the opening of Docklands Stadium. Cameron Guthrie
Cameron Guthrie (born 19 August 1992) is an Australian rules footballer for the Geelong Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). AFL career Guthrie was drafted with the 23rd selection in the 2010 AFL draft after playing for the Calder Cannons in the TAC Cup. He was allocated the No. 29 jumper, previously worn by Gary Ablett, Jr., who had left Geelong to become the new Gold Coast Football Club's inaugural captain. He made his AFL debut in the opening round of the 2011 AFL season in Geelong's thrilling one-point win over St Kilda. Zach Guthrie (born 30 June 1998) is a professional Australian rules footballer playing for the Geelong Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). He was drafted by Geelong with their second selection and thirty-third overall in the 2017 rookie draft.
