Andrew Dunphy
Andrew Dunphy (born 16th May 2000) is an Irish hurler who plays for Dublin Senior Championship club St. Brigid's and at inter-county level with the Dublin senior hurling team. He usually lines out as a corner-back. Career A member of the St. Brigid's club in Castleknock, Dunphy first came to prominence at schools' level with the combined Dublin North team that won the Leinster Colleges Championship in 2018. He made his first appearance on the inter-county scene as a member of the Dublin minor team during the 2017 Leinster Championship, before later captaining the under-20 team to the Leinster Championship title in 2020. Dunphy joined the Dublin senior hurling team in 2020. Castleknock
Castleknock () is an affluent village in County Dublin, Ireland, located west of the centre of Dublin city. It is in the modern county of Fingal. In addition to the village, the name "Castleknock" also refers to older units of land division: a townland, a civil parish and a barony. National Hurling League
The National Hurling League is an annual Inter county, inter-county hurling competition featuring teams from Ireland and England. Founded in 1925 by the Gaelic Athletic Association, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation within the league system. The league has 35 teams divided into five divisions, with seven teams in each division. Promotion and relegation between these divisions is a central feature of the league. 2020 All-Ireland Under-20 Hurling Championship
The 2020 All-Ireland Under-20 Hurling Championship was the second staging of the All-Ireland Under-20 Championship and the 57th staging overall of a hurling championship for players between the minor and senior grades. The championship was scheduled to begin in May 2020, however, it was postponed indefinitely due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on Gaelic games. The championship eventually began on 19 October 2020 and, after being suspended once again, ended on 10 July 2021. Tipperary entered the championship as the defending champions in search of a third successive title, however, they were beaten by Cork in the Munster final. Kerry fielded a team in the Munster Championship for the first time since 2005. The 2017 All-Ireland Minor Hurling Championship was the 87th staging of the All-Ireland hurling championship since its establishment by the Gaelic Athletic Association in 1928. It is the primary inter-county hurling championship for boys under the age of eighteen. The championship began on 5 April 2017 and ended on 3 September 2017.
