Andrew Banks
Andrew Richard Banks (born 30 November 1951) is an English-Australian businessman and film producer. He co-founded recruitment company Morgan & Banks and founded HR business process outsourcing provider, Talent2 International. He was one of the 'Sharks' on the television series Shark Tank. Early life Banks was born in Lambeth, London, England the fifth of six boys. His father was a staff sergeant in the Medical Corps of the British Army. His mother was born in Vienna and grew up in Gdansk, Poland; she was fluent in six languages. When the family moved to Chichester in 1961, Banks attended the local selective state grammar school and became involved in amateur dramatic productions. Shark Tank (Australian TV Series)
''Shark Tank'' is an Australian reality competition television series that premiered on 8 February 2015 and aired until 7 August 2018 on Network Ten, in which aspiring entrepreneur-contestants made business presentations to a panel of "Shark" investors. ''Shark Tank'' was filmed at Fox Studios Australia. Four seasons of the program were aired. It was announced on 31 October 2018 that the show would not return for a fifth season in 2019. Season overview Overview Hosted by Sarah Harris, the show featured a panel of multimillionaire investors called "Sharks" who listened to entrepreneurs pitch businesses or products they wished to develop. A hamdog is an Australian sandwich that consists of a shaped bread bun with a beef patty cut in two, and a frankfurter placed in between the two halves which is then topped off with cheese, pickles, sauces, tomato, lettuce and onion. He received a US design patent for the specially shaped bun in 2009. Another variety of hamdog was invented in February 2005 by Chandler Goff, the owner of a bar in Decatur, Georgia.
