Andrei Zharkov
Andrei Zharkov (russian: Андрей Жарков) is a former ice dancer who represented the Soviet Union. With his wife Svetlana Serkeli, he is the 1986 World Junior silver medalist. Serkeli and Zharkov were coached by Lyudmila Pakhomova. In late 1984, they placed fifth at the 1985 World Junior Championships in Colorado Springs, Colorado. A year later in Sarajevo, they won the silver medal behind Elena Krykanova / Evgeni Platov. In 1999, the two married and settled in Ormond Beach, Florida Ormond Beach is a city in central Florida in Volusia County. The population was 43,080 at the 2020 census. Evgeni Platov
Evgeni Arkadievich Platov (Ukrainian to English: Ev'heni Arkadievich Platov) (russian: Евгений Аркадьевич Платов; born August 7, 1967; Ukrainian: Євген Аркадійович Платов) is a Russian former competitive ice dancer. He is best known for his partnership with Oksana Grishuk from 1989 to 1998. With Grishuk, he is a two-time Olympic champion (1994, 1998), four-time World champion (1994–1997), and three-time European champion (1996–1998). With previous partner Elena Krykanova, he was a three-time World Junior champion (1984–1986). During his career, he represented the Soviet Union, the Unified Team, and Russia. Cedar Hill is a city in Dallas and Ellis counties in the U.S. state of Texas. It is located approximately southwest of downtown Dallas and is situated along the eastern shore of Joe Pool Lake and Cedar Hill State Park. Svetlana Serkeli () is a former ice dancer who represented the Soviet Union. With her husband Andrei Zharkov, she is the 1986 World Junior silver medalist. Serkeli was born around 1967 or 1968 and spent her early years in Odessa. She and Zharkov were coached by Lyudmila Pakhomova.
