Andrei Stocker
Andrei Stocker (born 22 November 1942) is a Romanian former footballer who played as a central defender and a referee. Career Andrei Stocker, nicknamed "Keke" was born on 22 November 1942 in Aninoasa, his parents being Transylvanian Saxon miners, who because of their German origins were deported in 1945 by the soviets to do forced labour for a few years in the Donbas region. He started playing football at Minerul Aninoasa where he was noticed by coach Eugen Mladin who brought him at his team, Jiul Petroșani. In his first season played at Jiul, he helped the team gain promotion to Divizia A, a competition in which he made his debut on 21 August 1966 in a 7–0 victory against Steagul Roșu Brașov. After playing one year and a half at Jiul Petroșani as a right midfielder, Stocker started to play alongside Gogu Tonca in the central defense, where they became known for their tough way of playing, being considered by some as the most aggressive couple of defenders in Divizia A' ... Aninoasa
Aninoasa ( hu, Aninósza or ''Aninószabányatelep'') is a town in Hunedoara County in the Transylvania region of Romania. The town is located in Jiu Valley, which is a coal basin, and many of the towns residents are coal miners. Most of the town was built along Aninoasa creek, and the town is actually separated into two areas by the West Jiu River. "Anin" means "alder tree" in Romanian. Aninoasa is the oldest town in Hunedoara County, being mentioned as far back as 1453 AD. It administers one village, Iscroni (''Alsóbarbatyeniszkrony''). At the 2011 census, 88.18% of inhabitants were Romanians, 7.1% Roma and 4.18% Hungarians. It officially became a town in 1989, as a result of the Romanian rural systematization program. In association football, an assistant referee (previously known as a linesman or lineswoman) is an official empowered with assisting the referee in enforcing the Laws of the Game during a match. Although assistants are not required under the Laws, at most organised levels of football the match officiating crew consists of the referee and at least two assistant referees. The responsibilities of the various assistant referees are listed in Law 6, "The Other Match Officials". In the current Laws the term "assistant referee" technically refers only to the two officials who generally patrol the touchlines, with the wider range of assistants to the referee given other titles. The 1970–71 Cupa României was the 34th edition of Romania's most prestigious football cup competition. The title was won by Rapid București against Jiul Petroşani. Format The competition is an annual knockout tournament. In the first round proper, two pots were made, first pot with Divizia A teams and other teams till 16 and the second pot with the rest of teams qualified in this phase. Each tie is played as a single leg. First round proper matches are played on the ground of the lowest ranked team, then from the second round proper the matches are played on a neutral location.
