Andrei Loktionov
Andrei Vyacheslavovich Loktionov (; born 30 May 1990) is a Russian professional ice hockey player who is currently playing with HC Spartak Moscow in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL). He also played in the National Hockey League (NHL) with the Los Angeles Kings, New Jersey Devils, and the Carolina Hurricanes. Loktionov was drafted by the Kings in the fifth round, 128th overall, at the 2008 NHL Entry Draft Playing career A product of the HC Khimik hockey school in Voskresensk, Loktionov then skated for Spartak Moscow's system before signing with Lokomotiv Yaroslavl. He is also a longtime member of the 1990-born Team Russia. He was drafted 123rd overall in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft by the Los Angeles Kings. HC Spartak Moscow
HC Spartak Moscow (, ) is a professional ice hockey club based in Moscow, Russia. It is a member of the Bobrov Division in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL). The club played in the Tarasov Division of the KHL during the 2013–14 season. However, the team did not participate in the KHL league in the 2014–15 season, because of financial issues, but rejoined the league prior for the 2015–16 season as a member of the Bobrov Division. Kirill Olegovich Slepets (; born 6 April 1999) is a Russian professional ice hockey winger currently playing for Amur Khabarovsk in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL). He was selected 152nd overall by the Carolina Hurricanes in the 2019 NHL Entry Draft. Playing career As a youth Slepets played within the junior ranks of Lokomotiv Yaroslavl. He made his full professional debut in the 2018–19 season, appearing in 10 games with Lokomotiv Yaroslavl, scoring 1 goal. 2019–20 KHL Season
The 2019–20 KHL season was the 12th season of the Kontinental Hockey League. There were 24 teams that competed in 62 regular season games. The season began with the Opening Cup on 1 September 2019, and the regular championship ran until 27 February 2020. The playoffs were scheduled to take place from 1 March through until 30 April. The All-Star Weekend took place over 18–19 January 2020. Due to the 2020 coronavirus pandemic in Europe, the season was prematurely ended on 25 March 2020, midway through the playoffs. The Russian Hockey Federation declared CSKA Moscow the Russian champions, SKA Saint Petersburg and Ak Bars Kazan silver medalists, and Dynamo Moscow bronze medalists based on regular season standings. 2014–15 KHL Season
The 2014–15 KHL season was the seventh season of the Kontinental Hockey League. The season started on 3 September with the Opening Cup between defending champions Metallurg Magnitogorsk and Dynamo Moscow, replacing Lev Praha, last year's runner up who did not participate this season. Team changes Prior to the season, the KHL added three more teams: Jokerit from Helsinki, Lada Togliatti (an earlier member of the KHL that spent the last four seasons in the VHL) and HC Sochi, an expansion team from Sochi. HC Donbass did not play in the league this season, due to the war in Donbas, which caused a devastating fire at their home arena. Tuomo Iisakki Ruutu (born 16 February 1983) is a Finnish former professional ice hockey Forward (ice hockey), forward and current assistant coach with the Florida Panthers of the National Hockey League. Albany Devils
The Albany Devils were a professional ice hockey team in the American Hockey League (AHL). The top affiliate of the New Jersey Devils of the National Hockey League (NHL), the A-Devils played their home games at the Times Union Center in Albany, New York. The franchise started in 1998 as the expansion Lowell Lock Monsters and played their home games in Lowell, Massachusetts.
