Andrei Karpovich
Andrey Vladimirovich Karpovich (; born 18 January 1981) is a Kazakhs, Kazakh Association football, football manager and a former player who is the manager of FC Yelimay, Yelimay. Career Club Karpovich started his career in his home town Semey playing for FC Semey, FC Elimay, and has since played for a number of different teams, finally signing for Russian side FC Dinamo Moskva in 2007. In February 2009, he transferred to the Kazakh team FC Lokomotiv Astana. International Karpovich scored Kazakhstan national football team, Kazakhstan's first-ever goal in a competitive match after entering UEFA. The game was against Ukraine national football team, Ukraine in a 2006 FIFA World Cup qualification opener. He has made 49 international appearances for the Kazakhstan national team. Semey
Semey (; , formerly known as Semipalatinsk ( ) until 2007 and as Alash-Qala ( ) from 1917 to 1920, is a city in eastern Kazakhstan, in the Kazakh part of Siberia. When Abai Region was created in 2022, Semey became its administrative centre. It lies along the Irtysh River near the border with Russia, north of Almaty and southeast of the Russian city of Omsk. The 2019 Kazakhstan Premier League was the 28th season of the Kazakhstan Premier League, the highest football league competition in Kazakhstan. FC Astana defended their title, winning the championship for the sixth season in a row, whilst FC Atyrau and FC Aktobe were relegated and FC Taraz survived a relegation playoff against FC Akzhayik. 2006 FIFA World Cup Qualification
The 2006 FIFA World Cup qualification competition was a series of tournaments organised by the six FIFA confederations. Each confederation – the AFC (Asia), CAF (Africa), CONCACAF (North, Central America and Caribbean), CONMEBOL (South America), OFC (Oceania), and UEFA (Europe) – was allocated a certain number of the 32 places at the tournament. A total of 197 teams entered the qualification process for the 2006 FIFA World Cup. In 2001 FIFA ended automatic qualification of the reigning champion, so that 2002 champions Brazil became first to participate in the qualifying tournament. The hosts (Germany) retained their automatic spot. FC Dynamo Moscow (''FC Dynamo Moskva'', , ) is a Russian professional football club based in Moscow. Dynamo returned to the Russian Premier League for the 2017–18 season after one season in the second-tier Russian Football National League. FC Elimai () is a Kazakh professional football club based in Semey. A leading club in the early years of the Kazakhstan Premier League, then named ''Elimai Semey'' (or simply "Elimai"), they were three-time champions of Kazakhstan in 1994, 1995 and 1998.
