Andreas Scheuerpflug
Andreas Scheuerpflug (born July 13, 1967) is a German beach volleyball player. Scheuerpflug participated for Germany in both the 2000 and 2004 Summer Olympics. He partnered with Oliver Oetke in Sydney, and the pair failed to win a match. Scheuerpflug had more success in Athens, where he partnered with Christoph Dieckmann and won their pool, ultimately finishing in a tie for fifth place Fifth is the ordinal form of the number five. Volleyball is a team sport in which two teams of six players are separated by a net. Each team tries to score points by grounding a ball on the other team's court under organized rules. It has been a part of the official program of the Summer Olympic Games since Tokyo 1964. Beach volleyball was introduced to the programme at the Atlanta 1996. The adapted version of volleyball at the Summer Paralympic Games is sitting volleyball.
