Andreas Niniadis
Andreas Niniadis (; born 18 February 1971) is a Pontic-Greek former professional footballer. Club career He was one of the dominant players in one of Olympiacos ''gold'' eras (1997–2003) and he helped his team to reach seven Greek superleague championships successively and one Greek cup as well. He also played for Pontioi Veria, Ethnikos Piraeus F.C. and Kerkira FC. He played 23 Champions League matches with Olympiakos, scoring five goals, and three UEFA Cup matches, scoring one goal. International career Niniadis earned 17 appearances for Greece, scoring two goals. Managerial career Since his retirement, Niniadis has been employed by his former club Olympiacos as a chief scout and an assistant manager. In the 2006–07 and 2009–10 seasons he was the assistant coach of Takis Lemonis and Bozidar Bandovic. The 1998–99 Greek Football Cup was the 57th edition of the Greek Football Cup. Olympiacos F.C., Olympiacos defeated Panathinaikos F.C., Panathinaikos in the final on 5 May 1999. Tournament details In total, 60 teams participated: 18 from Super League Greece, Alpha Ethniki, 18 from Beta Ethniki, Beta, and 24 from Gamma Ethniki, Gamma. Greek Football Cup
The Greek Football Cup (), commonly known as the Greek Cup or Betsson Greek Cup for sponsorship reasons is a Greek football competition, run by the Hellenic Football Federation. The Greek Cup is the second-most important domestic men's football event, after the championship of Super League. The organizing authority of the institution is the Hellenic Football Federation ( EPO). Since its inception in 1931 it has been held 83 times, with a cup winner being crowned on 82 occasions. The 2002–03 Alpha Ethniki was the 67th season of the highest football league in Greece. The season began on 24 August 2002 and ended on 25 May 2003. Olympiacos won their seventh consecutive and 32nd Greek title. Olympiacos and Panathinaikos finished the League with the same points total but Olympiacos were crowned champions due to more favourable results between the two teams. It was a very dramatic end to the season, with the decisive game between the two clubs taking place in the penultimate round.
