Andreas Dettloff
Andreas Dettloff (born 26 October 1963) is a German visual artist who lives and works in Tahiti. He is one of the most influential artists in French Polynesia. Biography Dettloff was born in Iserlohn in Germany and educated at the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf. He was awarded a scholarship allowing him to travel to Australia, Easter Island and Polynesia Polynesia ( , ) is a subregion of Oceania, made up of more than 1,000 islands scattered over the central and southern Pacific Ocean. Iserlohn (; Westphalian language, Westphalian: ''Iserlaun'') is a city in the Märkischer Kreis district, in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It is the largest city by population and area within the district and the Sauerland region.
