Andrea Stojadinov
Andrea Stojadinov (; born 20 June 2000) is a Serbian judoka. She won the silver medal in the women's 48 kg event at the 2020 European Judo Championships held in Prague, Czech Republic. Career Stojadinov represented Serbia at the 2018 Mediterranean Games held in Tarragona, Catalonia, Spain. In that same year, she won the gold medal in the women's 48 kg event at the 2018 European U23 Judo Championships held in Győr, Hungary. A year later, she won one of the bronze medals in this event at the 2019 European U23 Judo Championships held in Izhevsk, Russia. In 2019, Stojadinov represented Serbia at the European Games held in Minsk, Belarus. She competed in the women's 48 kg event where she was eliminated in her second match by Maruša Štangar of Slovenia. Štangar went on to win one of the bronze medals. International Judo Federation
The International Judo Federation (IJF) is the international governing body for judo, founded in July 1951. Today the IJF has 200 National Federations on all continents. There are over 20 million people around the globe who practice judo, according to the IJF. History On July 11, 1951 in London, the representatives of the European Judo Union (Great Britain, France, Italy, Belgium, The Netherlands, Germany, Austria and Switzerland) received the candidacy of Argentina and the International Judo Federation was created. The Italian Aldo Torti became the first President of the IJF. Countries from four continents were affiliated over the next ten years. World Judo Juniors Championships
The World Judo Juniors Championships are the highest level of international judo competition for juniors, 20 years of age or less. The championships are held once every year (except the years when the Olympics take place) by the International Judo Federation, and qualified judoka compete in their respective categories as representatives of their home countries. The World Juniors Championships are the only junior event awarding ranking points for the seniors world ranking list. The last edition of the championships took place in Dushanbe, Tajikistan in 2024.
