Andrea R. Nahmod
Andrea Rica Nahmod (born 1964) is a mathematician at University of Massachusetts, Amherst. She is known for her work in nonlinear partial differential equations and other areas of nonlinear analysis. Career Nahmod received her Ph.D. from Yale University in 1991. She went to work as a research fellow at Macquarie University from 1992 to 1994, followed by positions at University of Texas, Austin, the Mathematical Sciences Research Institute, and the Institute for Advanced Study, before coming to work at University of Massachusetts, Amherst in 1998. Ronald Coifman
Ronald Raphael Coifman is the Sterling professor of Mathematics at Yale University. Coifman earned a doctorate from the University of Geneva in 1965, supervised by Jovan Karamata. Coifman is a member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, the Connecticut Academy of Science and Engineering, and the National Academy of Sciences. He is a recipient of the 1996 DARPA Sustained Excellence Award, the 1996 Connecticut Science Medal, the 1999 Pioneer Award of the International Society for Industrial and Applied Science, and the 1999 National Medal of Science. In 2013, he co-founded ThetaRay, a cyber security and big data analytics company. In 2018, he received the Rolf Schock Prize for Mathematics. Institute For Advanced Study
The Institute for Advanced Study (IAS), located in Princeton, New Jersey, in the United States, is an independent center for theoretical research and intellectual inquiry. It has served as the academic home of internationally preeminent scholars, including J.
