Andrea Pierobon
Andrea Pierobon (born 19 July 1969) is an Italian football coach and a former player who played mostly for Cittadella as a goalkeeper. He works as a goalkeeping coach with Cittadella. He holds the record for being the oldest professional player in the history of Italian football. Cittadella ( vec, Sitadeła) is a medieval walled city in the province of Padua, northern Italy, founded in the 13th century as a military outpost of Padua. In many team sports which involve scoring goals, the goalkeeper (sometimes termed goaltender, netminder, GK, goalie or keeper) is a designated player charged with directly preventing the opposing team from scoring by blocking or intercepting opposing shots on goal. Such positions exist in bandy, rink bandy, camogie, association football, Gaelic football, international rules football, floorball, handball, hurling, field hockey, ice hockey, roller hockey, lacrosse, ringette, rinkball, water polo, and shinty as well as in other sports.
