Andrea Mengoni
Andrea Mengoni (born 16 September 1983) is an Italian footballer who plays as a defender for A. C. Sangiustese. Mengoni had played for Italian lower divisions in his entire career. Club career Early career Born in Rome, Lazio, Mengoni started his career at Eccellenza Lazio team Acilia, located in the ''frazione'' of the same name. At age 18, he was signed by Castel di Sangro. He followed the team relegated to Serie C2 in 2002. Mengoni also played for its Berretti under-20 team in 2002–03 season. Chievo and loans In July 2003, Mengoni was signed by Serie A club Chievo. He was farmed to Chieti of Serie C1 in co-ownership deal. In January 2004 he was loaned to Fermana. At the end of the season, Fermana survived from the Serie C1 relegation "play-out". Francesco Dettori (born 2 March 1983) is an Italian former footballer who played as a midfielder. He made his Serie B debut on 7 September 2008, whilst playing for Avellino, in a 3–1 defeat away to Triestina. Career Early career Born in Sassari, Sardinia, Dettori was a player for Latte Dolce in 2000–01 Promozione season. He then left for several Serie C and Serie D clubs, such as Pescara in January 2008. The Lega Nazionale Professionisti B (Italian for National Professionals League B), commonly known as LNPB or Lega B (B League), is the governing body that runs the second tier of professional football competitions in Italy, the Serie B. 2009–10 Lega Pro Prima Divisione
The 2009–10 Lega Pro Prima Divisione season was the thirty-second football league season of Italian Lega Pro Prima Divisione since its establishment in 1978, and the second since the renaming from Serie C to Lega Pro. It was divided into two phases: the regular season, played from 23 August 2009 to May 2010, and the playoff phase from May to June 2010. The league was contested by 36 teams, geographically divided into two divisions of 18 teams each. Teams only played other teams in their own division, once at home and once away for a total of 34 matches each. 2007–08 Serie B
The 2007–08 Serie B regular season is the seventy-sixth since its establishment. It started on August 25, 2007, and ended with the promotion playoff final on June 15, 2008. At the end of the year, three teams were promoted to Serie A, the first two via direct promotion (league champions, Chievo Verona, and Bologna), and the third team after two rounds of playoffs (Lecce). Four teams were relegated to Serie C1. The bottom three were relegated directly (Cesena, Spezia and Ravenna), as was the fourth-to-last team (Avellino), since they finished 9 points back of the fifth-to-last, Treviso, denying them a chance at a survival "relegation-playoff". The 2006–07 Coppa Italia was the 60th edition of the tournament. The final was played, like the two previous editions, between Internazionale and Roma.
