Andrea Kiss
Andrea Kiss (born 7 November 1995) is a Hungarian ice hockey player and coach, currently playing in the European Women's Hockey League (EWHL) with the MAC Budapest (women), women's team of MAC Budapest and serving as head coach to MAC Marilyn Budapest in the Austrian Austria women's ice hockey Bundesliga, Women's Ice Hockey Bundesliga (DEBL). During her career with the Hungary women's national ice hockey team, Hungarian national ice hockey team, which spanned from 2011 to 2021, she participated in nine IIHF Women's World Championship tournaments, including the Top Division tournament in 2021 IIHF Women's World Championship, 2021. Forward (ice Hockey)
In ice hockey, a forward is a player, and a position on the ice, whose primary responsibility is to score and assist goals. Generally, the forwards try to stay in three different lanes of the ice from goal to goal. It is not mandatory, however, to stay in a lane. Staying in a lane aids in forming the common offensive strategy known as a triangle. One forward obtains the puck and then the forwards pass it between themselves making the goalie move side to side. This strategy opens up the net for scoring opportunities. This strategy allows for a constant flow of the play, attempting to maintain the control of play by one team in the offensive zone. The forwards can pass to the defence players playing at the Blue line (ice hockey), blue line, thus freeing up the play and allowing either a shot from the point (blue line position where the defence stands) or a pass back to the offence. 2018 IIHF Women's World Championship Division I
The 2018 IIHF Women's World Championship Division I consisted of two international ice hockey tournaments organized by the International Ice Hockey Federation. Division I A and Division I B represent the second and third tier of the IIHF Women's World Championship. France won the Division I Group A tournament and moved up to the Top Division, while Italy became the champions of Division I Group B and will play in the Division I Group A tournament next year. 2017 IIHF Women's World Championship Division I
The 2017 IIHF Women's World Championship Division I consisted of two international ice hockey tournaments organized by the International Ice Hockey Federation. Division I A and Division I B represent the second and third tier of the IIHF Women's World Championship. At the 2017 IIHF annual congress it was decided that the Top Division would expand from eight to ten teams. As a result, all relegations from the 2017 tournaments were cancelled, and there would also be no relegation in all 2018 tournaments.
