Andrea Hah
Andrea Hah is an Australian rock climber based in Blue Mountains, known for being the first Australian woman to climb grade 33 with her ascent of ''Tiger Cat'', and her appearance on Australian Ninja Warrior. Early life Hah was a youth gymnast, before retiring due to injuries at age 16. She toyed with aerial skiing, Cirque du Soleil, hurdling, trampolining and diving, before transferring to rock climbing. Climbing career Hah first came into prominence in the early 2010s after gaining sponsorship and climbing some hard routes in the Blue Mountains, including ''Tiger Cat'' (33). In 2015 she won the Australian bouldering championships. She lives in the Blue Mountains with her husband and fellow climber Lee Cossey, working as an exercise physiologist. Rock Climber
Rock climbing is a climbing sports discipline that involves ascending routes consisting of natural rock in an outdoor environment, or on artificial resin climbing walls in a mostly indoor environment. Routes are documented in guidebooks, and on online databases, detailing how to climb the route (called the beta), and who made the first ascent (or FA) and the coveted first free ascent (or FFA). Climbers will try to ascend a route onsight, however, a climber can spend years projecting a route before they make a redpoint ascent. Routes range from a few metres to over a in height, and traverses can reach in length. They include slabs, faces, cracks and overhangs/roofs. The Blue Mountains ( Gundungurra/Dharug: Colomatta or Gulumada) are a mountainous region and a mountain range located in New South Wales, Australia. ''Australian Ninja Warrior'' is a sports entertainment competition spin-off of the Japanese television series '' Sasuke'' which premiered on 9 July 2017 on the Nine Network. It features hundreds of competitors attempting to complete series of obstacle courses of increasing difficulty, in hopes of advancing to the finals and becoming the season's "Australian Ninja Warrior." On 15 September 2022, the series was cancelled by Nine and wouldn't return in 2023. Cirque Du Soleil
Cirque du Soleil (, ; ) is a Canadian entertainment company and the largest contemporary circus producer in the world. Mount Buffalo
Mount Buffalo is a mountain plateau of the Australian Alps and is within the Mount Buffalo National Park in Victoria, Australia. It is located approximately northeast of Melbourne. It is noted for its dramatic scenery. The summit of the highest peak of the plateau, known as The Horn, has an elevation of AHD. Mount Buffalo is managed by Parks Victoria. Mount Arapiles is a rock formation that rises about above the Wimmera plains in western Victoria, Australia. It is located in Arapiles approximately west of the town of Natimuk and is part of the Mount Arapiles-Tooan State Park. Arapiles is a very popular destination for rock climbers due to the quantity and quality of climbs. It is one of the premier climbing sites in Australia along with the nearby Grampians.
