Andrea Bouma
Andrea Bouma (; born 6 November 1999) is a Dutch athlete who competes as a Sprint (running), sprinter. She has competed for the Netherlands in the 4 x 400 metres relay in a multiple number of major championships, winning a gold medal at the 2022 European Athletics Championships and a silver medal at the 2022 World Athletics Indoor Championships. Career Bouma competed at the 2016 IAAF World U20 Championships, 2016 World U20 Championships in the 2016 IAAF World U20 Championships – Women's 200 metres, women's 200 metres. She ran 24.19 s in the heats to advance to the semi-finals. She then ran 24.19 s in the semi-finals and did not advance to the final. At the 2020 Dutch Athletics Championships, 2020 Dutch Championships, Bouma won the gold medal in the 400 metres with a time of 53.87 s. 200 Metres
The 200 metres, or 200-meter dash, is a sprint running event. On an outdoor 400-metre racetrack, the race begins on the curve and ends on the home straight, so a combination of techniques is needed to successfully run the race. A slightly shorter race, called the '' stadion'' and run on a straight track, was the first recorded event at the ancient Olympic Games. The 200 m places more emphasis on speed endurance than shorter sprint distances as athletes predominantly rely on anaerobic energy system during the 200 m sprint. The 100 metres, or 100-meter dash, is a sprint race in track and field competitions. The shortest common outdoor running distance, the dash is one of the most popular and prestigious events in the sport of athletics. 2022 European Athletics Championships – Women's 4 × 400 Metres Relay
The women's 4 × 400 metres relay at the 2022 European Athletics Championships was held over two rounds at the Olympiastadion in Munich, Germany, on 19 and 20 August 2022. It was the seventeenth time that the event was contested at the European Athletics Championships. Sixteen national teams were allocated a place to compete in this relay. 2022 World Athletics Championships
The 2022 World Athletics Championships was the eighteenth edition of the World Athletics Championships. It was held at Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon, United States, from July 15–24, 2022, with the country hosting that competition for the first time. The competition was originally scheduled for August 6–15, 2021, but it was pushed back by one year due to the postponement of the 2020 Summer Olympics to 2021. After the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine, World Athletics banned all Russian and Belarusian athletes and officials from participating at the championships.
