Andi Almqvist
Andi Almqvist (born 2 July 1968) is a Swedish singer, musician and composer known for his dark, cinematic sound and haunting lyrics about life, death, alienation and dysfunctional love. Almqvist has released six solo albums, ''Can't Stop Laughing'' (2005), ''Red Room Stories'' (2007), ''Glimmer'' (2009), ''Warsaw Holiday'' (2013), ''Tiltad'' (2018) and ''Not Too Far From Happy'' (2024). Touring Andi Almqvist has toured extensively over the years, headlining or supporting artists like Woven Hand, Mark Lanegan, Holly Golightly (singer), Holly Golightly, Kaizer's Orchestra, B.B. King, The Blind Boys of Alabama and Bettye LaVette among others. Almqvist has played many of Europe's big festivals, such as Eurosonic Festival (Holland), Les Ardentes (Belgium), Spot Festival (Denmark), Dias Nordicos (Spain), Peace & Love (festival), Peace & Love (Sweden), and Hultsfred Festival (Sweden). Sydsvenskan
''Sydsvenska Dagbladet Snällposten'', generally known simply as ''Sydsvenskan'' (, ), is a daily newspaper published in Scania in Sweden. History and profile ''Sydsvenskan'' was founded in 1870. In 1871 the paper merged with ''Snällposten'' which was started in 1848. ''Sydsvenskan'' is headquartered in Malmö and mostly distributed in southern Scania. Its coverage is characterized by local news from southwest Scania in addition to a full coverage of national, EU, and international news. The paper is owned by the Bonnier Group which bought it in 1994. It was one of the Swedish publications which featured news materials provided by the Swedish Security Service, Swedish Intelligence Agency during World War II. Until 1966, ''Sydsvenskan'' had close ties to the Rightist Party (now Moderate Party).
