Anders Wallner
Anders Wallner, born 1983 in Bergsjö, Hälsingland, is a Swedish Green Party (Sweden), Green Party member, resident in Stockholm. He was party secretary ( sv, partisekreterare) from 2011 to 2016. Anders Wallner has previously held elected office on a local level in Malmö. From 2007 to 2008, he was a member of the party's ruling party board of directors. in 2010, he became a member of the Stockholm City Council. He was previously assistant to party spokesperson Maria Wetterstrand. In 2007, he was press officer for Stockholm Pride. Hälsingland (), sometimes referred to as Helsingia in English, is a historical province or ''landskap'' in central Sweden. The Green Party ( sv, Miljöpartiet de gröna, lit=Environmental Party the Greens, commonly referred to in Swedish as Miljöpartiet or MP) is a political party in Sweden based on green politics. . Sparked by the anti- nuclear power movement following the 1980 nuclear power referendum, the party was founded in 1981 out of a discontent with the existing parties' environmental policies. In 1988 general election they won seats in the Swedish Riksdag for the first time, capturing 5.5 percent of the vote, and becoming the first new party to enter parliament in seventy years. Ingrid Maria Wetterstrand (born 2 October 1973) is a Swedish politician. She was one of the spokespersons of the Green Party alongside Peter Eriksson between 2002 and 2011. Stockholm Pride (styled as STHLM Pride) is an annual gay pride festival held in Stockholm, the capital of Sweden. Since the start in 1998, Stockholm Pride has grown. In 2014, some 60,000 participated and 600,000 followed the parade at the streets. The celebrations normally starts with lectures and exhibitions all over the city on the Monday. Pride House is the festival's cultural centre. It is packed with seminars, debates, workshops, exhibitions, film, theatre and other performances. On the Wednesday it's the grand opening of the closed off Pride Park which is the festival arena for tens of thousands of people, and in the park organisation stalls, stages, restaurants, shops, and other attractions are built.
