Andalas Derby
The Andalas derby (Indonesian language, Indonesian: ''Derbi Andalas''), also known as the Super Sumatra derby (Indonesian: ''Derbi Super Sumatera''), is the name given to inter-city rivalry between Indonesian professional Association football, football clubs Semen Padang F.C., Semen Padang and Sriwijaya F.C., Sriwijaya. Semen Padang was founded in 1980 in Padang, West Sumatra, while Sriwijaya is based in Palembang, South Sumatra since it was founded in 2004. The "Andalas" is another name for Sumatra, and is used to refer the island. Semen, also known as seminal fluid, is an organic bodily fluid created to contain spermatozoa. It is secreted by the gonads (sexual glands) and other sexual organs of male or hermaphroditic animals and can fertilize the female ovum. Piala Indonesia ( 'Indonesia Cup') is the professional annual cup competition for football clubs in Indonesia. Originally, it started from the semi-professional football era in 1985 as Piala Liga, which ran until 1989 under Galatama competition. The Football Association of Indonesia (PSSI) organized the full professional cup competition from 2005 until now. Traditionally, the tournament involves all the clubs from the whole layers in football competitions in Indonesia, which are Liga 1, Liga 2, and Liga 3. The competition was founded in 2005. The Indonesian Inter Island Cup (IIC; id, Piala Antar Pulau) was a national level football tournament held in Indonesia and organized by PSSI as a pre-season tournament during the Indonesia Super League season break. Jakabaring Sport City ''(sic)'', also known as Jakabaring Sports Complex ( id, Kompleks Olahraga Jakabaring) is an integrated sports facility complex in Palembang, South Sumatra, Indonesia. The complex is located 5 kilometers southeast of Palembang city center, across the Musi river by the Ampera Bridge in Jakabaring, Seberang Ulu I area.
