Anatoly Davydov
Anatoly Davydov (born November 14, 1948) is a Russian actor and producer, best known for his roles in ''Heaven's Gate'' (1980), ''Gorky Park'' (1983), ''The Falcon and the Snowman'' (1985), ''The Package'' (1989), ''The Bonfire of the Vanities'' and ''The Hunt for Red October'' (both 1990), ''Assassins'' (1995) and ''Say It in Russian'' (2007) Biography In 1971, he graduated from the Faculty of Oriental Studies at Leningrad State University. After graduating, he worked for three years at the Novosti Press Agency. During a trip to Japan, he contacted the American embassy with a request to grant him political asylum in the United States.
