Anastasia Metelkina
Anastasia Nikolaevna Metelkina (; ka, ანასტასია ნიკოლაევნა მეტელკინა; born 10 March 2005) is a Russian-born pair skater who competes for Georgia. With current partner Luka Berulava, she is a two-time European Championship medalist, 2024–25 Grand Prix Final bronze medalist, and the 2024 NHK Trophy champion. On the junior level, Metelkina/Berulava are two-time World Junior champions (2024, 2025), the 2023–24 Junior Grand Prix Final champion, and a two-time ISU Junior Grand Prix gold medalist. Metelkina previously competed with Daniil Parkman, winning a bronze medal at the 2022 Grand Prix of Espoo and a silver medal at the 2021 Golden Spin of Zagreb. 2025 World Figure Skating Championships
The 2025 World Figure Skating Championships were held from March 26–30, 2025, at the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts, in the United States. 2022–23 ISU Grand Prix Of Figure Skating
The 2022–23 ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating was a series of senior international competitions organized by the International Skating Union that were held from October 2022 through December 2022. Medals were awarded in men's singles, women's singles, pair skating, and ice dance. Skaters earned points based on their placements at each event and the top six in each discipline qualified to compete at the Grand Prix Final in Turin, Italy. The corresponding series for junior-level skaters was the 2022–23 ISU Junior Grand Prix. Competitions In April 2022, the ISU cancelled the Rostelecom Cup in response to the Russian invasion of Ukraine. The Grand Prix of Espoo was named as its replacement on July 14, 2022. Karina Ilgizarovna Safina (, ka, კარინა ილგიზაროვნა საფინა, born 28 May 2004) is a Russian- Georgian pair skater who competes for Georgia. With her former partner, Luka Berulava, she is the 2022 World Junior champion, the 2021 CS Nebelhorn Trophy bronze medalist, and finished fourth at both the 2022 World Championships and the 2022 European Championships. Safina and Berulava were the first Georgian pair medalists on the ISU Junior Grand Prix circuit, having won silver at 2021 JGP Slovakia and bronze at 2021 JGP Austria, and the first Georgians to win a Junior World title in any discipline. The 2022 European Figure Skating Championships were held from 10 to 16 January 2022 at the Tondiraba Ice Hall in Tallinn, Estonia.
