Anastasia (band)
Anastasia () was a Macedonian music group. The band was formed in 1987 as Apokrifna Realnost and changed their name to Anastasia in 1989. Their members are: * Goran Trajkoski (ex Afektiven Naboj, Saraceni, Padot na Vizantija, Mizar, Aporea) * Klime Kovaceski (ex Afektiven Naboj, Padot na Vizantija) * Zlatko Origjanski (ex Lola V. Stain) *Zoran Spasovski (ex Mizar, Aporea) Their music is a blend combining Byzantine past, through Eastern Orthodox Church music with a rich gamut of ethnic Macedonian music rhythms. Anastasia have written several music scores for films, theater performances and TV programs. Their soundtrack for the Academy Award-nominated movie '' Before the Rain'' was released in 1994 by Polygram and sold thousands of copies worldwide. Arhangel
Arhangel ( , ''archangel'') is a Macedonian alternative rock band formed in 1989. The frontman is Risto Vrtev who has also been part of such rock bands as Mizar and Inola X. The original line-up is: Risto Vrtev, Dragan Ginovski, Panta Džambazoski (drums) and Dejan Argirovski. Arhangel has released five albums (four studio and one live) which have been met with both critical and commercial success. The band's sound is both muscular and melodic at the same time, echoing post-punk icons such as the English The Smiths and the Serbian Ekaterina Velika, while the band's lyrical inspirations focus is on the country's political and cultural changes during the 1990s. Nocturnal (Anastasia Album)
Nocturnality is a behavior in some non-human animals characterized by being active during the night and sleeping during the day. The common adjective is "nocturnal", versus diurnal meaning the opposite. Nocturnal creatures generally have highly developed senses of hearing, smell, and specially adapted eyesight. Goran Trajkovski
Goran Trajkoski () (born 21 November 1963) is a Macedonian musician. He rose to international prominence as a frontman of the group Anastasija which was featured on the soundtrack album for the Academy Award-nominated movie '' Before the Rain'' directed by Milčo Mančevski. He started his musical career as a member of the punk rock band Afektiven naboj from Struga. After moving to Skopje he joined the punk band Saraceni led by Vladimir Petrovski Karter. Later he was a vocalist of the influential 1980s group Padot na Vizantija. He played bass guitar in the Macedonian cult band Mizar from 1986 until 1987. After the reunion of Mizar in the 2000s, Goran Trajkovski became its new frontman. He is also involved in solo projects, for instance as an author of electronic music under the pseudonym ''Gotra'' (Готра) as well as a composer for film soundtracks and theatre music.
