Anaphylaxis (film)
''Anaphylaxis'' is a 2009 British art house feature film written and directed by Ayman Mokhtar and starring Guy Defferary, Katia Winter, Jenna Brook and Frazer Douglas. The story is about a doctor allergic to the human touch who finds his salvation in writings tattooed on the body of a dead poet. The film has a prosodic visual style, where shots follow certain durational rules to create a visual metrical rhythm (similar to that of poetry) for each scene in the film. The Making of ''Anaphylaxis'' ''Anaphylaxis'' was filmed in Winter 2007 at the historic Ealing Studios in London, England. The film was shot entirely on a green screen and on mute. The film's world (visual and auditory) was constructed in a post-production process spanning two years. Katia Winter
Katia Winter (born 13 October 1983) is a Swedish actress. She is best known for her roles as Nadia in the Showtime series ''Dexter'' (2012), Katrina Crane in the Fox series '' Sleepy Hollow'' (2013–15), Freydís Eiríksdóttir in The CW series ''Legends of Tomorrow'' (2017–18), and Gwen Karlsson in the CBS/Paramount+ series ''Blood & Treasure'' (2019–2023). She also appeared in the satirical superhero series '' The Boys'' on Amazon Prime Video as the Russian Mob boss Little Nina (2019–present). Early life Winter was born in Stockholm. Ealing Studios
Ealing Studios is a television and film production company and facilities provider at Ealing Green in west London, England. Will Barker bought the White Lodge on Ealing Green in 1902 as a base for film making, and films have been made on the site ever since. It is the oldest continuously working studio facility for film production in the world, and the current stages were opened for the use of sound in 1931. Anaphylaxis (Greek: 'up' + 'guarding') is a serious, potentially fatal allergic reaction and medical emergency that is rapid in onset and requires immediate medical attention regardless of the use of emergency medication on site.
