Anand Ekarshi
Anand Ekarshi (born Sebastian K Abraham) is a Malayalam filmmaker who gained recognition for his directorial debut, ''Aattam''. Early life and education Anand Ekarshi was born in Kerala. His interest in theatre and acting began at the young age of 10. He attributes his narrative style to his involvement with Lokadharmi, a theatre group based in Kochi. He holds a degree in Communicative English and a postgraduate degree in Psychology. Career Before making his mark with feature films, Anand Ekarshi worked on various short films and music videos in Malayalam. He also had a brief stint under the guidance of filmmaker Imtiaz Ali. Imtiaz Ali (director)
Imtiaz Ali (born 16 June 1971) is an Indian film director, producer, actor and writer who works in Hindi cinema. Early and personal life Imtiaz Ali was born in Jamshedpur and spent some of his early years in Patna. Imtiaz belongs to the Muslim family of Jamshedpur in Bihar (now Jharkhand). 70th National Film Awards
The 70th National Film Awards were announced on 16 August 2024 to honour the best films of 2022 in Indian cinema, presented by the National Film Development Corporation of India. The awards ceremony was originally slated to be held on 3 May 2023 but was postponed to October 2024 due to delays after the COVID-19 pandemic.
