Anadolu Isuzu (officially Anadolu Isuzu Automotive Industry & Trading A.Ş.) is a joint venture company based in Istanbul, Turkey. Anadoluhisarı (), known historically as Güzelce Hisar ("the Beauteous Fortress") is a medieval Ottoman fortress located in Istanbul, Turkey on the Anatolian (Asian) side of the Bosporus. The complex is the oldest surviving Turkish architectural structure built in Istanbul, and further gives its name to the neighborhood around it in the city's Beykoz district. History Anadoluhisarı was built between 1393 and 1394 on the commission of the Ottoman Sultan Bayezid I, as part of his preparations for a siege of the then-Byzantine city of Constantinople. Anadolu Shipyard () (ADİK) is a Turkish shipyard located in Tuzla, Istanbul. The shipyard mostly builds amphibious warfare ships as part of the defense industry. History Anadolu Shipyard was founded in the early 1950s. The company was initially active at Haliç Taşkızak in Golden Horn, Istanbul. Anadolu Medical Center () is a hospital in Gebze, Kocaeli, Turkey. It is located in Çayırova on the highway at the Bayramoğlu exit, close to Sabiha Gökçen International Airport. WASP-52
WASP-52 is a K-type main-sequence star about 570 light-years away. It is older than the Sun at billion years, but it has a similar fraction of heavy elements. The star has prominent starspot activity, with 3% to 14% of the stellar surface covered by areas 575 K cooler than the rest of the photosphere. A multiplicity survey in 2015 did not detect any stellar companions. The star was named Anadolu in 2019 by Turkish astronomers as part of the NameExoWorlds contest. Planetary system In 2012 a transiting hot Jupiter planet, WASP-52b, was detected in a tight, circular orbit. The planet was named Göktürk by Turkish astronomers in December 2019.
